I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing a variety of therapeutic services for individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups in residential and outpatient settings. My perspective is wider and deeper than most therapists: my doctorate in psychology was in “lifespan developmental psychology” – which lends a more positive, holistic approach to each Person- their perspective, strengths, and opportunities for learning and self-growth, rather than emphasizing “abnormal psychology” and cookie-cutter methods to address “psychiatric diagnoses” or one isolated system as the “medical model” does. One way that I’m choosing to do this currently is to work with individuals and families in the relative comfort of their own homes and when desirable to meet in the outdoor/natural environments of our Paradise here in South Florida. I love building and using my clients’ strengths, humor, and curiosity to help them grow. We’re each on a life journey toward self-understanding, fulfillment, and happiness – I most enjoy sharing my knowledge, skills, and life experience with those Who are seeking support at this time along the way…and want to work hard and have fun doing it!
